What shades should you choose when having your windows tinted?

The legal percentage for the two front windows varies from state to state. In Utah, the law is 43%. At Auto Trim Design, we only provide legal tint. For back windows, you can go as dark as you like. “Limo” is 5%. There are two shades available between legal and limo: 35% (25% – Ceramic) and 20% (15% – Ceramic). If your vehicle has factory tinted windows and you want them to be darker, you can add a lighter shade of film to the inside surface of the rear windows to bring them to “limo”.
